Heading to the Quarter State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway? Here are some helpful tips to make sure you get the most out of your race weekend:
Arrive Early – especially on Saturday
Race day traffic can get heavy, especially on Saturday. It’s best to beat the crowds and enjoy the race-day atmosphere by arriving early.
Bring your own food and drinks.
You’re allowed to bring your own snacks and beverages into the speedway – just make sure you leave glass bottles at home. Packing your own food is a great way to save money and stay fueled throughout the day. For more information, click here.
Plan ahead for traffic and parking.
Traffic around the track can be busy all weekend. Plan your route in advance, allow for extra travel time, and reserve parking if you can. Knowing exactly where you're going to park will make your day a lot smoother.
Choose a meeting spot.
Cell phone service at the track can be spotty due to the large crowd. If you're going with friends or family, pick a meeting place ahead of time in case you get separated and can't reach each other by phone.
Plan your day
Atlanta Motor Speedway offers more than just racing. Check out the fan zone, food vendors, and merchandise tents. Take a little time to plan where you want to go so you don’t miss out on any part of the experience.
