The racetrack at Atlanta Motor Speedway offers a variety of parking options, both free and paid, in the surrounding area. Here's an overview to help you choose the best option for your visit, along with some tips to make your trip smoother and more convenient.

Fans can take advantage of free parking in the grassy lots at Atlanta Motor Speedway during both NASCAR race weekends.

AMS uses a directed parking system to help manage the large crowds and more than 850 acres of property. This helps organize traffic flow and makes room for the many tent campers and RVs staying on-site throughout race weekend.

If you're driving northbound on US Highways 19/41, you'll be routed either onto Lower Woolsey Road or the main entrance.

• Vehicles entering from Lower Woolsey Road will be directed to the PURPLE lot.
• Those entering through the main entrance will be directed to the BLUE lot.

If you're heading southbound on US Highways 19/41, you'll be turned onto Speedway Boulevard and directed to park in the RED or GREEN lots.

Drivers coming in from GA Highway 20 will also be directed to the PURPLE lot.

All traffic will exit the speedway property by reversing the same route they used to enter, helping reduce congestion and keep traffic moving.

Paid parking

Atlanta Motor Speedway provides the option of reserved parking in a paved asphalt lot located just steps from the grandstand entrance. Strategically positioned next to the Fan Zone, this premium parking area places fans at the center of the event’s core attractions and activities, offering unmatched convenience and proximity throughout the entire race weekend.

This reserved lot is ideal for spectators seeking a seamless and efficient arrival and departure experience, eliminating the need for long walks or shuttle use. With direct access to key fan engagement zones and quick entry to seating areas, it is particularly well-suited for those prioritizing accessibility, time management, or simply a more elevated event experience.

It is advisable to secure this parking in advance, as availability may be limited due to high demand during NASCAR weekends.
