ENTERING THE SPEEDWAY

Bag check
All bags and personal items will be inspected at the gate. Be sure to review the venue’s list of allowed and prohibited items before you arrive –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ this includes things like fan gear, snacks, and beverages. We strongly recommend leaving anything questionable at home. Prohibited items will be confiscated and won’t be returned, and in more serious cases, you could be denied entry or even banned from future events.

Entry & Tickets
You’ll need a valid ticket to enter –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ either a digital version or a printed copy. The easiest way is to save your ticket directly to your phone, but it’s always smart to bring a paper backup just in case. If entry lines move quickly, you might not even need to show your ticket unless asked.

The fastest and most convenient way to get tickets is by purchasing online. It only takes a few minutes. Act fast, though –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ some ticket types may already be sold out. Options typically include reserved seating, general admission, and open spots in the natural grandstands.

Parking at Atlanta Motor Speedway – NASCAR weekend

Reserved parking

The Shell Rotella Reserved Parking Lot offers convenient parking just steps from Gates 12, 13, and 14. Passes are digital-only, and overnight parking is not allowed. A weekend pass costs $111.

Free Parking

Free grass parking is available across AMS’s massive 850-acre property. A forced parking plan is used to manage traffic flow:

From the north (US 19/41):
Lower Woolsey Road → PURPLE lot.
Main Entrance → BLUE lot.

From the south (US 19/41):
Speedway Boulevard → RED or GREEN lots

From GA-20:
Directed to the PURPLE lot

Note: All vehicles will exit using the same road they entered from, but in the opposite direction.
